SUMMARY OF POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Finance Analyst will be responsible for supporting the financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting of

SunStreet

Energy’s operations, including monthly actual results, quarterly forecasts, annual budget, strategic plans, as well as cash forecasting. The ideal candidate will have excellent financial modeling skills, including experience in utilizing

NPV

and

IRR

calculations related to long-term cash flows. This position will have direct interaction with the Controller and support financial reporting requirements. In addition, this position will be responsible for preparing various ad-hoc analysis and being involved in special projects, including potential company transactions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly forecast, and month-end closing

Collaborate with Accounting Department to provide monthly analysis of actual results relative to budget/forecast

Maintain financial models used to track expected performance of the company’s portfolio and help steer decision making of future endeavors

Compile various data sets used for internal & external reporting

Identifies trends and recommends improvements accordingly

Analyzes financial performance while identifying and summarizing key performance drivers

Assist in the development of the company’s 5-Year plan

Prepare various ad-hoc

analyses

and support various financial transactions

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Finance, MBA preferred

3-5 years relevant experience in modeling, budgeting, and financial analysis

1-2 years proficiency in programming in Python is a big plus

Strong knowledge deploying models into production

Working understanding of

GAAP

Must be able to thrive in a fast -pace setting

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills required

Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required

Self-motivated, results-oriented, and ability to create, develop, and maintain relationships
