MazePlay is an exciting company that creates over 100 corn mazes for clients throughout the United States and Canada each year. Our mazes can help owner achieve their dreams for a financially successful business on the farm. Our mazes provide a healthy entertainment opportunity for friends and families. It is awesome to be apart of creating the light in a child’s eyes as the run through the maze. We are small team where each of our efforts are important and have impact. We are looking for someone to help us create corn mazes. We are looking for someone who grew up on a farm that would like to have a job related to agriculture, someone who is comfortable operating equipment, talking with customers, and working from an office in the off-season. We plant and cut mazes. You might say that we custom farm for the fun of it! Our tractors are small late model John Deere’s with cabs. We plant a smaller number of mazes with an automated planter where the planter just drops the seed needed for the maze. The majority of mazes we create are cut with a tractor and tiller. We use GPS, but the tractor doesn’t drive itself for cutting the mazes. It requires a high skill level to be able to drive the tractor for cutting the mazes. We will train you but you will need prior equipment operation experience for this position. This tractor driving position require competence operating and setting up computers. You will need to have some trouble-shooting capability when things go wrong.

We haul our equipment to each of the maze locations. One unit is a Motorhome built on a freightliner chassis, and we pull an enclosed stacker trailer with the tractors. You would need to have or be willing to obtain a class A CDL. You will get to travel all over the country and have the opportunity to meet many amazing people. I bring my family with me and you will have some opportunity to bring your family with you as you travel once you become trained.

You will work directly with clients on sales and training. During the non cutting season you will be assisting clients with various services and products we provide. You will need to be capable of managing your own projects. We are looking for someone with some sales experience. It would be a bonus if you had some digital marketing and social media experience. You will need to have competent communication skills and be able to compose letters and other written projects.

You will be expected to be proficient with normal office type software also you will need to be able to create some sales, marketing, newsletter and training materials. You will need to be able to operate computers in the Mac and Windows environments. Some training or exposure to GIS software is desirable.
