Field Engineer

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Field Service Representative that is technically qualified to provide onsite technical and maintenance support to Apache D/E-Model M-TADS / PNVS systems.

The successful candidate will commit to a minimum of two 12 month deployments or four 6 months deployments to a combat or hazardous duty location to support the AH-64 MTADS/PNVS system. Initial CONUS location will be Killeen, TX, Gilbert Arizona or Orlando Fl.. Duties include:

Provide support to the Apache Helicopters, to include troubleshooting, repair, operational checks, and supply actions on the MTADS/PNVS, concurrent with training maintenance personnel who perform the same functions.

Use computer aided test equipment, as well as standard electronic test devices such as DVM and oscilloscope.

Troubleshoot technical problems and issues and determine technical solutions.

Conduct technical training to include On-the-Job Training (OJT) and be able to perform product briefings with customer.

Acts as the local on-site representative of Lockheed Martin to the customer.

This position is considered deployable; therefore the candidate must be capable of passing a deployable physical examination (including ability to lift 35 pounds) for deployments to a combat or hazardous duty location.

Basic Qualifications

Ability to obtain interim security clearance prior to start

Must be deployable

M-TADS / PNVS CFSR experience

Candidate must have the ability to use computer aided test equipment, as well as standard electronic test devices such as DVM and oscilloscope

Candidate must be able to complete common supply inventory and processing actions

Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential

Good computer skills, Microsoft office products

Prior military service or contractor field representative

Candidate will commit to a minimum of two 12 months deployments or four 6 months deployments to a combat or hazardous duty location to support the AH-64 MTADS / PNVS systems

Candidate will be required to pass a post – offer, pre – employment physical to determine ability to deploy as defined by the contract

Candidate is expected to take a field assignment co-located with our customer or at one of our depots and to remain geographically flexible to support Program’s changing customer support requirements.

Active Secret Clearance

A background in military avionics and night vision systems is desired, with actual flight line experience preferred

Prior military experience with actual flight line experience preferred

Experience with the army supply system

MOS 15X AH64 electrical systems repairer experience

Experience operating/troubleshooting AH64 Legacy TADS / PNVS systems

Experience operating/troubleshooting AH64 Modernized M-TADS / PNVS systems
