Freelance Fashion Assistant – IMMEDIATE Hire

Job Description: Marie Claire Magazine seeks a well-organized, detailed-oriented junior level freelancer to work in its fashion closet, as well as assisting the Fashion Editors. Candidates must be meticulous, able to multitask, and 100% reliable.

Responsibilities:

*Maintain the organization of the fashion closet

*Organize pick-ups and deliveries of samples

*Traffic samples that come in and out of the fashion closet

*Work closely with the Fashion Editors (scheduling all press appointments, writing articles for marieclaire.com)

*Put together trend boards and story boards

*Assist on photo shoots with fashion team and outside stylists

Requirements:

*College Graduates ONLY

*MUST be Mac saavy, with knowledge of Microsoft, Adobe and iPhoto

*MUST have prior experience as a fashion and/or accessories intern or freelancer. (Preferable at a magazine)

*Must be well organized, comfortable with working in a fast paced environment, have knowledge of the industry.

Starting date: Tuesday, March 14th, 2017

Hourly Rate/Salary: $11 /hour
