Export Manager- Motorcycle

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB To ensure the achievement of Motorcycle retail and wholesale objectives through effective sales operations and process management for the SADC region MAJOR TASK HEADINGS (High level Key Performance Areas/Outputs. What do you do every day/month; what are you measured on?) Implement and execute HSAF sales strategies for SADC Dealer PMA, Target calculations and setting Ensure Dealer wholesale and retail target achievement Manage franchise standards and compliance Dealer KPI setting and measurement Organise Annual Dealer Conference & Incentive programme Collate and analyse COI (customer order information) – monthly Collate and analyse STR (showroom traffic information) – monthly Manage and coach Sales Area Managers – daily, weekly, monthly Develop and present a Sales Plan for every new model launch – Sales SP Conduct Dealer interventions for non-achieving / non-performing dealers Manage and monitor stocking levels and pipeline flow for all dealers Develop and implement ad hock marketing activities / initiatives / events Monitor and control sales and marketing activities – DAF claims, Ad approval Monitor the Dealer sales funnel and operational process – ensure all dealers have a formal process in place (e.g e-Good Manners or similar) Administrative – Monthly rebate schedule recon, issuing of bulletins &, reporting, processing of departmental payments, Innovation extended warranty programme, Dealer view. Presentation inputs – various Prepare and issue monthly news letter. Prepare monthly staff meeting presentation TECHNICAL COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS (e.g. skills, knowledge of the working environment that will help you to carry out your job at a technical level) Experience of the SADC Motor Industry Motor industry retail and sales process Business development Market and Motor industry statistics South Africa, Sub-Sahara Africa geographical knowledge & License districts Industry specific ratios and benchmarks Advanced computer literacy skills (including MS Office, especially Excel).
