As an international consulting company focusing on natural resources, environmental and infrastructure projects, we have offices in Germany, the UK, in Turkey, Canada, Russia, India, Indonesia and South Africa. The focus of our activities in South Africa is on geological exploration and environmental studies. Our strategic objective is to develop and grow a new business pillar in the area of mining consultancy in South Africa. You will manage all operational business activities of that new business area, including the development of a strategy for providing consulting services related to the natural resources sector, sales and marketing, the management of bidding and tendering processes and of contracts as well as project execution and accounting. Apart from that, as one of the two executive directors of the company, you will be responsible for all HR- and office-related activities, accounting, legal and tax matters and ensure compliance with corporate governance processes including quality and risk management.

Was Sie ausmacht

University degree in mining/processing engineering, geosciences or a related field

Several years of professional experience in a comparable function in the mining industry, also in a managerial role

Proven track record in business development and networking in the industry

Registered as a Pr. Eng or Pr. Sci. Nat

Excellent communication skills along with a confident, client-oriented work approach and strategic thinking

Strong leadership and organizational abilities as well as a high level of personal commitment and dedication

Intercultural and social competence and the ability to work in teams
