Responsible to the President/Chief Executive Officer of Community Memorial Hospital for the implementation, facilitation and administration of successful fund raising campaigns and related program development necessary to achieve financial goals. Cultivates and solicits major donors and planned gift donors and maintains knowledge of gifting methods and strategies. Oversees the grant process to assure the best likelihood of gaining additional funds for the Foundation. Works closely with existing donors, volunteers, and community leaders. Assures the Foundation is managed in accordance with the mission, vision and philosophy of the organization. Other duties as assigned.

A minimum of 5 years of senior-level fund development and communication, public relations/marketing experience in a health care institution is required.

Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, fund raising, communications/public relations, business, marketing, government relations or related field required. Master’s degree in business administration, health care administration, or related field preferred. Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft® Word®, Excel®, and Powerpoint®, and fund raising software. Demonstrated evidence of leadership, creativity, integrity and initiative. Strong communications, human relations, community relations and promotional skills.
