Event Sales Coordinator

You are a driven sales specialist who welcome challenges with open arms. You are a goal setter and a good team player who has experience in working closely with the Rooms, Food and Beverage and other revenue-generating departments in a hotel.

Carefully plans Sales Calls into defined objectives and follow up sales leads to identify prospect.

Maintains a detailed knowledge of hotel facilities, features and services.

Ensures a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales solicitation of telephone contact and written communications.

Professionally conducts routine telemarketing activities to identify new accounts.

Entertains and conducts hotel inspections for clients whenever required.

Establishes and maintains a strong relationship with the established clientele and constantly explores new business opportunities.

Achieves the monthly and annual group target and the segment target room night production and room revenue.

Liaises and works closely with the related operation departments ensuring guests requests and expectation are being met.

Ensures all Events Orders are distributed to the concerned department in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Ideally with a relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Hospitality or Tourism Management.
• Minimum 2 years work experience EVent Sales coordinator in a five star luxury international brand hotel.
• Must have well-versed knowledge in local market.
• A can-do attitude.
• Strong problem solving skills, strategy formulation, account development, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Computer skills in MS Office, email, Fidelio/Envision/Reserve will be an asset.
