Position Description

The ERP/J.D. Edwards Finance Analyst position will be responsible with configuring and implementing the finance modules and support of additional related modules. This position will work collaboratively with a global finance team and technical development teams to support systems including G/L, Accounting Master Data, Product Costing, Manufacturing accounting, as well some work within the Distribution modules. Key activities will be designing, configuring, writing specifications and testing new implementations. This position will work as liaison between the users and the technical team performing functional support. The analyst will need to understand business requirements and how they relate to functionality in JDE as well as interoperability between other applications.

Responsibilities

• Support JDE 9.1 Financial Systems including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Fixed Assets
• Support of third-party systems such as A/P workflow, external credit/collections systems, treasury management, and banking systems
• Configure applications to support business requirements
• Prepare documentation to support process, functional, and technical specifications
• Work collaboratively with business and IT to analyze requirements
• Work with internal and external financial users and developers to assist with the implementation of new solutions, technologies, and supporting applications
• Provide training support to end users where there is a lack of understanding of how the current process works or how the system is configured to work

Requirements

• 5+ years recent experience with JD Edwards One World or Enterprise One and related processes or similar ERP
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
• Experience supporting ERP and related business applications in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience supporting and integrating third-party systems
• Strong understanding of ERP business processes with experience in A/P, A/R, G/L and related systems
• Experience defining and developing ad-hoc reports with various reporting and query tools.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills. Experience working with all levels of the business to define requirements as well as to perform application support.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task if needed
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Additional Skills

• Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft SSRS reporting
• Knowledge of IBM iSeries is a plus
• Knowledge of Oracle products such as SOA
• Accounting background or certifications is a plus
