ERP Business Analyst

This position is for an ERP Business Analyst for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control working in SAP / APRISO. There will be substantial interaction with the customer to define requirements, provide business solutions, map solutions to commercial software applications (SAP), define testing scenarios, and demonstrate systems ability to deliver business results. This position will work to configure business solutions in SAP, ensure the business needs are communicated and understood by the technical team, be involved in systems design, and user acceptance testing.

This position requires:

Both business and technical acumen, with experience in software development technologies and full lifecycle development.

A desire to work directly with the business customer and commercial-off-the-shelf business applications to provide optimized software and reporting solutions.

Education and/or experience in technologies and tools such as relational database management systems and Web development technologies.

It is beneficial to this position to have experience, or education in Finance or Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP).

This position may require travel and willingness to support ERP initiatives throughout the corporation.

Basic Qualifications
Degree in Engineering discipline with emphasis on IT. Computer Science, IT, or related field of study

Excellent Analytical and Problem Solving skills

Ability to learn and apply business processes in a technical environment

Knowledgeable of Software Development Lifecycle

Knowledgeable in one or more Relational database management systems (e.g. Oracle)

Demonstrated effective customer service skills

Demonstrated effective verbal and written communications skills

Ability to travel up to 25%

Demonstrated effective teaming skills

Desire to continue learning and applying new technologies

Desired skills
Knowledgeable of Object Oriented (OO) methods and object oriented (code reuse) programming techniques

Experience with SAP Processes

Knowledgeable in Relational Database Management Systems (RDMS, Oracle, SQLServer, or Sybase)

Experience with ad hoc reporting tools

Exposure to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) concepts

Exposure to Commercial-Off-The Shelf software packages such as SAP / APRISO

Technical Acumen in Quality or Engineering tools
