Entry-Level Web Developer

The Post-Bulletin Company has an immediate opening in the Technical Services Department for an entry-level, full-time Web Developer / User Support Specialist. This position performs a wide range of duties related to application maintenance, enhancement, user support, new development using the latest technologies and daily operational tasks.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with one or more years of experience in web application development.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate to a variety of audiences
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast paced environment, exceptional organizational, problem solving and communication skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of Microsoft .Net Framework and other development technologies
• ASP .Net MVC Versions, web forms
• MS SQL Server, MySQL
• HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, JQuery
• Experience with Brainworks, Visual Basic, AS400, and Linux knowledge
• Networking experience with PC / Server support

FULL-TIME: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Some weekend and holiday work may be required.
