Entry Level SAP Basis Consultant

The SAP Basis Consultant will join our global technical team and will work across functional teams and infrastructure teams to support large SAP Landscapes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support of planning and performing SAP Installations including system sizing, server layout, and manage overall system installation plan
• Support the project teams during the development cycle and provide technical support during deployments and software releases
• Provide implementation and technical support for 3rd Party applications which are an extension of the SAP applications landscape
• Provide administration support and system monitoring for the operating system, database, and SAP systems as well
• Troubleshoot / resolve problems leveraging different ticket management tools

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 1-2 years of SAP Basis experience
• At least 1 years of experience SAP Basis project involving SAP HANA
• Has skills and experience on SAP Solution Manager, SAP ERP, SAP BW, SAP PI and NW Java products like GRC and Portal
• Basic knowledge of CHARM functionalities and transports management in large landscapes
• Basic knowledge of SAP security and authorization concepts
• 1+ years of hands on experience with relational databases (DB2 preferred) in an SAP environment
• 1+ years of hands on experience working with operating systems (Linux and AIX) in an SAP environment
• Experience with ticketing systems such as Service Now and Bugzilla
• Effective communication skills are a must
