Entry Level Recruiter

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Responsible for full cycle recruitment of exempt and non-exempt positions for all functions at the corporate office, production plants and distribution centers.
  • Through collaboration with the VP of HR, plan and implement recruiting strategies to ensure that the staffing needs are met.
  • Plan and execute sourcing strategies to ensure a continuous pipeline of quality candidates. Utilize a broad range of sourcing tools including cold-calling, networking, internet posting, mining, advertising and team member referrals.
  • Partner with management to understand where current and forecasted needs exist.
  • Develop a network of search firms, temporary agencies, ad agencies and Web-based services in order to reduce time to fill, cost per hire and improve the quality of new hires.
  • Develop and implement programs, plans, policies, and procedures for addressing sourcing, testing, selection, placement and orientation, with guidance from HR leadership team.
  • Responsible for administration of pre-employment drug tests, criminal background checks and DOT Certifications
  • Coordinates and attends job fairs and networking sessions.
  • Coordinates assessment of candidates.
  • Coordinates and conducts individual and group orientations
  • Maintains data on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, hires; prepares and analyzes statistical reports through the Company’s ATS tool.
  • Manage the College Campus Recruiting program on an ongoing basis, will be responsible for developing future opportunities to expand the program into other areas of our business.
  • Conduct exit interviews.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree required

Prior recruitment experience is a plus

Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel) and aptitude to utilize other systems Excellent customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Ability to meet tight deadlines. Attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills.
