Entry Level Project Engineer-Hillsboro, OR

Provide design coordination between all stakeholders of the project team. Design coordinators provide local design representation and are the laison for remote sites reporting back to a Design lead and project manager.

Field walks:
Schedule and lead all field walk meetings with trades, and client.

Collect and document comments from all parties during field walk.

Check point of connection database while on field walk to verify whether a point of connection is open if a contractor wants to make a change.

Distribute meeting minutes and mark ups after field walk. Discuss review comments with the team as needed.

Design reviews:
Schedule and lead design review meetings

Collect and document review comments from all parties

Check point of connection database while on field walk to verify whether a point of connection is open if a contractor wants to make a change

Distribute meeting minutes to all parties. Discuss review comments with the team as needed. Manage record of discussion and RFIs- distribute to team and/or answer when able, facilitate resolution.

If 3D, lead model review meeting, collect and document review comments and distribute to team.

Design site coordinators are our client interface and are our site eyes and ears, and liaison for information back to design team. Good leadership and communication skills are critical for this role.

There will be many packages in progress at the same time. Effective time management and organization skills are required for this role.

The minimum qualifications for this position are:
Bachelors degree in engineering

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: Field and management experience

Database and 3D modeling experience.
