Entry-Level Procurement Finance Analyst

Come join one of the biggest supply chains in the world! As a Procurement Financial Analyst (PFA), you will be placed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high visibility and impact. In this role, you’ll partner with Supply Chain Contracting and Sourcing teams for the procurement of parts and services in support of aircraft development and production. Candidates will work across and engage with multiple disciplines such as engineering, financial operations, supply chain operations, manufacturing and many more. There will also be opportunity to work with many Boeing suppliers located all around the world.
As a PFA, you have direct bottom-line financial impact to The Boeing Company. You will be tasked with analyzing proposals, forecasting and communicating with senior leadership to provide recommendations on how to get the best value for Boeing through procurement decisions. You will also be empowered to implement those recommendations through supporting negotiations with Boeing suppliers.
Primary Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Conduct cost/price analysis using a variety of analytical tools such as; market trends, parametric models and detail estimating to support supplier contracting activities
  • Communicate financial recommendations to internal stakeholders in support of procurement decisions
  • Analyze and communicate risks and opportunities around engineering and supplier changes
  • Forecast supplier spend across multiple Airplane Programs
  • Support the development and implementation of negotiation strategies to leverage Boeing supply base
  • Assist in Request for Quote/Request for Proposal (RFQ/RFP) analysis in support of sourcing recommendations
  • Support fact finding of supplier costs and proposals
Bachelor’s degree and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience.

Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience
  • 1+ years performing general financial analysis
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience supporting the contracting process, including proposal preparation, audit, fact-finding and negotiations
  • 1+ years of full-time experience do you have in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
