Entry Level / Junior Web Developer

We are seeking a motivated, Junior Web Developer looking to hone their skills. They must have a knack for coding and want to be fully immersed in a small business size environment. The position will be full of challenges and an opportunity for career growth.

Summary:

The Jr. Developer will be expected to build and refine concepts, develop customized solutions, and deliver functional websites. This position will develop your skills for developing full fledged websites for small and large businesses alike, develop better coding and debugging skills, as well as provide development in business acumen and in-depth understanding of the full cycle of a business project from the client acquisition stage to execution.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

-Development based on client needs; wire-framing & rapid prototyping.

-Conversion layouts (PSD/AI) into CSS / HTML 5 / JavaScript functional websites

-eCommerce Support, Development, payment integration, shopping cart systems

-Work with Open Source Technologies including but not limited to: WordPress, Magento, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Parallax, Plug-ins.

(Ideal) Requirements:

-Experience with multi project work loads

-Great Communicator

-Detail Oriented

-Ability to manage multiple projects in fast paced environment

-Ability to deliver in a timely manner

-Determine appropriate technical solutions for specific projects

-Familiarity with one of the following: PHP, Python, Ruby, C#, ASP

-Excellent debugging and optimization skills

In addition to your resume, please submit a portfolio with variety of project samples and websites you’ve worked on. (School & Bootcamp Projects acceptable!)
