Entry-Level Java Developer

Job Description

OpenIAM is currently seeking students graduating from college at the end of the 2016 – 2017 academic year with a degree in Computer Science and interested in developing a career in the Information Technology field. As a Java Developer will work with world class software engineers to develop new functionality in the OpenIAM Identity and Access management suite. You will also work with some of the largest companies in the world who are deploying the OpenIAM solution.

Successful candidates will have a demonstrated passion for information technology, business, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills. Developers will be assigned to one of our many projects.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong software development skills.
  • Computer science or Engineering degree from a reputable engineering college
  • 3.3+ GPA is preferred
  • Ability to work in the U.S. for an indefinite period of time

Technical Requirements

  • JavaSpring Framework (v4+)
  • Hibernate (v5)
  • Design patterns and data structures
  • Solid DBMS / SQL Skills/NoSQL
  • Implement and consume SOAP or RESTFul services
  • Solid Linux skills
  • Javascript and JQuery
  • Maven and GIT
  • TestNG/Junit/Selenium
