Entry Level Engineer

CDP Engineers is an established engineering, and surveying company that prides itself on providing design solutions that are reliable, maintainable, efficient, environmentally safe and affordable. Established in 1989, our service sector includes a range of both public and private entities: governmental agencies (KYTC), municipalities, educational institutions, private development and utilities. We are currently seeking a full-time Engineer for our Lexington, Kentucky office. At a minimum, candidates must meet the following educational, professional and personal requirements:

Education/Registration:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with 0-4 years of transportation experience, MS a plus.
• While registration is not required at this time, a candidate should be on-track to obtaining professional licensure commensurate with experience.

Professional:

Responsibilities/Expectations: Responsibilities require being involved in both the production and management of projects, as well as working within a project team environment. More specifically, responsibilities include:

• Team player. Works efficiently with project team to deliver projects on schedule and under budget. Successfully responds to Client’s needs and requests.
• Maintains records of time and expenses utilized for project billing.
• Maintains organization of company files related to project correspondence, drawings, specs and other data.

• Interacts positively and effectively with people in all levels of organizations strong oral and written communication skills
