The candidate will be able to gain valuable on the job training while building in – demand technical skills. Our clients are some of the world’s leading companies and the candidate will be part of challenging projects to build and support technical solutions for their needs. As an Application Development Specialist, the candidate will be expected to take on challenging project work designing, building, testing and supporting technical solutions. Depending upon the project, the candidate could find y ourself developing advanced skills in technologies such as Java, J2EE, SAP, C#, SQL, Mobile and Oracle, among others.Candidates will be self – motivated, success driven, and looking to make a difference in the world. They will posses skills in the discipline s of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Decision Sciences, Information Systems, Math and other related faculties, particularly software development or application management and development.

The IBM Client Innovation Center is an in-bound delivery model where we support our clients from our Baton Rouge center. However, some travel is expected and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs across the US. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the client site (Monday thru Friday). You are expected to travel up to 50% of the time. No remote opportunities exist.

Basic knowledge in programming languages, methodologies and Object Oriented programming (Ex. Java, J2EE C++, etc)
