Entertainment Support Specialist I

Primary Purpose:
Provide key internal and external analytical data to assist department leadership in making informed operating decisions as it relates to the Entertainment Department expense and labor budgets. This position requires general knowledge of theatrical disciplines, refined logistical and analysis tracking abilities and exceptional time and project management skills. The primary responsibilities of this position includes budget tracking, data analysis and dashboard reporting, researching purchase order history, vendor interfacing, and obtaining quotations for Entertainment related projects.

Basic Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have a High School diploma or equivalent

Bachelor’s degree in theater, accounting, business or other related field preferred.

Minimum one (1) year theme park experience preferred but not required.

Minimum one (1) year production experience in media which may include; theater; television; radio; motion pictures, dance, recording studio or visual arts.

Special Event/Stage Manager/Project Management experience preferred.

Two (2) years of analytical, financial and planning work or related experience.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Access, Power Point and Word; to include utilizing software to build efficient and effective analytical and reporting tools.

Must be process and detail oriented as well as possess the ability to handle multiple projects with strict deadlines.

Ability to work in high stress conditions and maintain confidential information appropriately.

Demonstrates initiative, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Provide excellent service to guests and ambassadors.

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays

Consistently practices safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations

Must be willing to comply with and ensure ambassadors comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.

Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for reporting and tracking departmental expense spending and labor usage, analyzing impact of operational decisions and/or other departmental financial measurement.

Work in conjunction with department leadership and department administration in accurately forecasting PYE for labor and expense.

Create various analytical and graphical models based on our financial data to provide useful information in which upper management can use to make clear decisions.

Prepare, analyze and explain weekly/monthly Managerial Financial Reports (financial trends, variance reports, projections, utility reports, PowerPoint presentations, break-even models, DCFROI’s, Program Analysis Reports, labor, etc.)

Develop and recommend process improvement opportunities and coordinate new systems implementation.

Administrative/production support.

Special projects as assigned (i.e. creating PowerPoint presentations, creative development [depending on the ambassador’s particular aptitudes], Production Assistant assignments.

Perform other duties as assigned.
