Engineering Technicians

WesTest has openings for field and laboratory engineering technicians in our Cheyenne office.

WesTest specializes in geotechnical engineering and materials testing, with an emphasis on highway construction materials testing.

FIELD POSTITIONS

Field engineering technician responsibilities include sampling and testing asphalt, aggregate, concrete and soil. Training will be provided. This position requires a good driving record as projects are located throughout Wyoming and Colorado and a company vehicle will be assigned. Applicants must be able to lift 50 pounds. Flexibility regarding work hours and the ability to work out of town and nights are required. Out of town expenses are paid. ACI, WYDOT Aggregate, Asphalt & Concrete Technician Certification, WAQTC and Colorado RMAEC LabCAT Certifications are a plus.

LABORATORY POSITIONS

Laboratory engineering technician responsibilities include testing aggregate, soil and asphalt in our Cheyenne laboratory. Training will be provided. Applicants must be able to lift 50 pounds. Field and laboratory positions generally work 40 to 60 hours per week and time and one-half is paid for overtime. WesTest is a drug free workplace and a pre-employment drug test is required.
