Responsibilities – External: We are currently seeking an intern to join us as a Plan Review Engineer for up to three months from June 2018. As well as getting an in-depth understanding of the work of our Risk Engineering Consultants, this role involves supporting our office based engineering team with the application of loss prevention concepts and the in-depth review of technical drawings and specifications for new construction projects.

The work also involves a focus on the analysis of associated automatic fire protection systems to ensure that designs are in accordance with FM Global’s Property Loss Prevention Standards. Qualifications – External: Ideally you will be an Engineering undergraduate with a predicted 2:1 or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Chemical Engineering. Excellent communication skills, flexibility and the willingness to work as part of a professional team are essential.
