Engineer/Designer

Description:

This position will involve generating renderings and/or production drawings from which retail merchandizing fixtures will be manufactured. Designing and detailing from initial layout/design through finished product. Assist with troubleshooting and problem solving for existing units.

Responsibilities:

• Drawing in a 3D environment (Inventor preferred)
• Create renderings and manufacturing drawings.
• Set up drawing packages with templates, etc.
• Troubleshoot design problems.
• Work with plant personnel to improve design and assembly process.

Skills Required:

• Proficient in Inventor
• Proficient at rendering and/or drawing in 3D environment.
• AutoCAD
• AutoCAD LISP Programming experience a plus.
• SolidWorks/Inventor is a plus.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Work effectively with limited direction as well as the ability to work in a team environment.
• Good mechanical aptitude

Experience Preferred:

• General sheet metal and particle board fabrication and assembly knowledge.
