The Industry Solutions, Components & Distribution Division currently has an opening for an Engineer supporting our Aurora facility. As an Engineer, you will begin to shift from learning and assisting to fully contributing to solving technical problems while growing your analytical skills and mastery of engineering concepts. You will partner with and provide technical guidance to global teams. You will continually learn and stay abreast of innovative technology. You will also continue to grow your professional network.

This position will specifically involve the movement of ~8,500 part numbers from internal manufacture to a PF supply source.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Begin partnering with and providing guidance within and between teams
  including up to 35 facilities worldwide on the change from internal supplied manufacturing to external supplier
• Gather relevant information, compare and contrast data, identify relationships and predict performance
• Communicate results to customers, suppliers, team members, and other business units
• Perform product and process maintenance

Basic Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
• 3+ years of experience in MCS releasing and Part Validation Requirements for Hydraulic Components
• Experience adjusting and fully managing the transition of manufacturing data from internal to external manufacture within MCS system
• Previous experience moving large quantities of parts between internal and external facilities and all the relevant systems that must be updated
• 1+ years of Pro/E experience and ability to demonstrate capability

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

• Previous Caterpillar work experience
• CRIS desk ownership experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to converse with all levels of Caterpillar production and management employees
• Strong analytical skills
