EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT ADMINISTRATOR

Under the direction of the Director of Personnel/Human Resources, the Employee Engagement Administrator will deliver and administer employee engagement and management initiatives that inspire organizational excellence, engagement, education and empowerment. Responsibilities include: supporting workforce development planning and administration to ensure consistent alignment of staff and operational needs; supporting eCommunications and eLearning to educate and drive consistent and aligned information and tools; conducting countywide trainings; collecting data for performance measurement and report; supporting materials and processing of new employee on boarding. The Employee Engagement Administrator will also conduct talent inventory of employee competencies to determine future needs assessment and gap analysis; facilitate updates to the Department of Personnel/Human Resource website and assist with succession planning, performance management and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Training and Development, Management or related field from a recognized college or university; AND

At least 5 years of experience in training and development, which must include determining needed training, conducting a variety of trainings, handling a Learning Management System and assessing effectiveness of training; AND

At least 2 years of experience in career planning, performance management and succession planning.
