Emerging Markets Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Silva Capital Management is looking for a Financial Analyst whose roles will include financial modeling (FX, Fixed Income, Commodities, among others), supporting portfolio manager, portfolio monitoring, marketing support and special projects. The analyst will oversee weekly market reports and end of month reports to follow up with current clients. Also, will prepare and present ad hoc financial analyses for investment and risk advisory.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Strong and effective communication skills.
• Proficient in Spanish is a must.
• Knowledge of financial markets.
• Strong working knowledge of Bloomberg and Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Candidate must be able to hit ground running and possess entrepreneurial spirit required to fit culturally in a small boutique firm.
• Highly motivated with a strong desire to learn.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Quantitative Finance or similar.
• At least 1-3 years of experience in a role in Finance.
• Travel:
• Available for traveling at least once a month.
