Electronics Store Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We offer competitive pay and UNCAPPED commission to our retail sales staff!

You should be tech savvy with basic computer skills including but not limited to an ability to use Microsoft Excel and web-based order entry systems. You should also feel comfortable working with mobile technology including smartphones and tablets.

Experience selling telecommunications or consumer electronics products is preferred but, not required. For our leadership positions, sales experience is required as well as management of two or more direct reports in a sales environment.

SUMMARY:
The Retail Store Manager is responsible for the overall sales and operations of a single location. As a manager with Nexgen Wireless and communications, you will lead your team’s sales performance, customer experiences, and in-store operational management. You will motivate and inspire your team to learn new skills, sell new products, and grow with the company. You will manage all aspects of the in store business.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and maintain the integrity of store operating procedures
  • Coach and develop a high-performing sales team and service and repair staff
  • Exceed organizational performance and individual performance goals
  • Maximize the customer experience by “selling a complete solution”
  • Lead marketing to solicit new business, including but not limited to outbound calling, community involvement, outreach programs, print marketing and promoting the brand inside and outside the retail store location
  • Assist in recruiting
  • Cultivate high customer satisfaction survey scores
  • Assist and support store associates

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • 1 year of sales management experience in outside, inside, or retail sales
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and passion for leading
  • Flexible availability to work a retail store schedule include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Knowledge of consumer electronics including wireless devices

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time on the sales floor
  • Must be able to move and/or lift up to 25 pounds
