Orange County Convention Center is The Center of Hospitality. Located in the heart of the tourism district area, it serves as the perfect event destination.

Requirements:
Performs semi-skilled or skilled work in the installation of temporary electrical. Interacts on a regular basis with exhibitors and center staff to ensure the highest level of customer service. Independently performs technical labor in electrical and/or plumbing field, should be able to install temporary utilities for events. Meets the Center of Hospitality (COH) standards. Must be able to work irregular hours according to show activity including nights, weekends, and holidays. Multi-skilled able to install temporary services to exhibits on the show floor at the Orange County Convention Center. Performs other related duties as assigned. Performs semi-skilled or skilled work in the installation of temporary electrical. Interacts on a regular basis with exhibitors and center staff to ensure the highest level of customer service.

Forklift and golf cart certification is required within three months of employment. Maintaining these certifications will be the responsibility of the employee.

Three years of experience in one or more of the above areas of responsibility or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to understand and follow written and oral instructions in English.

Applicants selected for hire at the Orange County Convention Center must pass a physical, drug screening and background check prior to start of employment.Must be able to work irregular hours according to show activity including nights, weekends and holidays.This position is on-call. All hours are based on business need. There are no guaranteed hours. Salary $12.00hr – $16.00hr
