Electrical Engineer

The role

Working within the London Borough of Waltham Forest, delivering planned and reactive maintenance to varying properties across the borough. We are seeking a proactive and hard-working individual, to help deliver the maintenance services within our contractual SLA’s, whilst providing a customer focused approach to our clients.

Key accountabilities

• Customer liaison and be the day to day contact for site based staff at customer premises.
• Ensure that other staff/contractors under Amey control are operating in the correct manner.
• Reactive response Provide the first point of response for reactive calls for premises.
• Routine PPMs
• Asset verification to ensure that the asset listing for the designated premises is up to date
• nsure that site logbooks are up to date and have been correctly completed by other service providers under Amey control.
• Dilapidation Reports To identify additional works and plant condition for purposes of asset management.
• Lifecycle Management To be aware of the asset condition on site and the agreed approach to maintenance of all items.
• Deliver the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Schedule
• Maintenance and scheduled repairs of buildings
• Ensuring Statutory Compliance
• Reactive maintenance
• Maintain and exceed KPI scores
• Ensure best practice
• Co-ordinate suppliers as required
• Project works

Skills & experience

• Basic Health and Safety
• Level 3 Electrical Qualification
• 17th Edition
• Test and Inspect would be desirable
• Full Driving Licence
• Domestic or Commercial experience

The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check for this position.
