<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">EHS Intern Responsibilities:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Assist with the implementation of Actively Preventing Incidents at Rocky Mountain Bottle Company
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Conduct preventive maintenance activities for specific safety equipment
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Maintain current the environmental database by obtaining and entering throughput data into system
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Generate environmental reports in draft format to be approved by EHS Manager
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Administer the Material Safety database for approval of new materials
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Perform document control for EHS documents and recordkeeping
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Develop EHS intranet pages (and enhance SharePoint sites with goal of increasing utilization)
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Work on production floor
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">EHS Intern Requirements:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student working on a Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety, or Occupational Safety and Health degree
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Knowledge of Microsoft Office, high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience with SharePoint sites and web-design
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ability to work full time in summer
