About the Ward Center for Real Estate Studies

The Robert L. Ward Center for Real Estate Studies, named after past CCIM Institute President Robert L. Ward, CCIM, was created to provide continuing education and thought leadership to CCIM Institute members and non-members on timely topics in the commercial real estate industry. Courses are self-paced, online instructor led, and classroom based, and topics include current financial and advanced market analysis strategies, commercial development, and negotiation skills. CCIM Institute offers more than 200 Ward Center courses and the expectation is that there is at least 10% annual revenue and student count growth.

Assist in the development and delivery of non-designation education programs .

Job Functions

1. Provide the development and design of CCIMs non-designation and specialty track programs

Coordinate with Vice President of Education to determine the initial course development, design and review strategy.

Create and manage the course schedule for non-designation programs.

Identify opportunities for alternative delivery formats (online courses, webinars, etc.) to increase audience for education programs.

Solicit and analyze course feedback; recommend future enhancements to education programs.

Work with SMEs on design and review of existing courses and updates as needed.

Evaluate and recommend changes in content to education team.

Coordinate communication among staff, instructors, other members, consultants, vendors for course materials revisions.

Prioritize the development of new content and tools, as well as revisions and updates.

Identify and recommend strategy for course resources and tools

4. Serve as staff liaison to the Ward Center for Real Estate Studies Committee.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required.

Experience with learning management and virtual classroom systems, as well as web-based course design

Demonstrated experience in content identification, course development or instructional design. Work samples preferred.

Excellent writing skills, including experience writing for the web and video.

Excellent verbal communication skills, including formal presentation skills.

Strength in building professional relationships.

Demonstrated project planning and monitoring skills. Ability to meet deadlines and stay within project scope requirements.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
