The person in this position will use the SAS program to, prepare data files for accountability purposes including the annual school report cards and, as required, develop methodologies for measuring school success. Maintain the confidentiality of such information. Establish a database for longitudinal studies of early childhood education programs. Perform data management/development procedures of early childhood evaluation related databases. Maintain the confidentiality of such information. Analyze educational data from numerous sources. Prepare SAS programs for data analysis of tests, surveys, questionnaires, and research studies. Conduct statistical analyses using appropriate statistical procedures. Create data collection and management systems and procedures. Maintain the confidentiality of such information. Develop synopses of research studies and best practices. Produce policy research studies utilizing testing and other databases. Design and implement assessment/evaluation reports/instruments initiated by state or required by federal government. Develop and disseminate state level reports, accountability materials, and other policy related documents as assigned. Maintain the confidentiality of such information. Participate on quality of teams to develop and implement projects to improve the operation and service delivery of the Department and to provide professional assistance to school districts. Respond to data requests as necessary. Maintain the confidentiality of the data. Other duties as assigned.

This position is located in the Office of Research and Data Analysis.

Minimum and Additional Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree and experience in education, management or business.

Preferred Qualifications:
A master’s degree and two (2) years experience in educational or public policy research, statistics, or business; or a bachelor’s degree and three (3) years experience in educational or public policy research, statistics, or business.
