Editorial Assistant

Job Summary

Haligonian Investment, publisher of the award winning Destination Magazine and numerous other international magazine titles is looking for a great editorial assistant in your city.

If you are a passionate researcher and writer who is looking for an opportunity to grow and develop as a magazine and digital writer, this may be the right opportunity for you.

The role is for a 6-month period and is part-time in committment. It is also unpaid, with no guarentee of employment after completion. This role is for individuals looking for quality magazine experience.

Assistants will be involved in the development of short and longer form feature articles and get the opportunity to be part of a new pop culture focused magazine.

The primary skill set that will define success will be:

i) Excellent writing capacity, with the ability to tell a story.

ii) Strong online research ability that goes the extra mile to discover new and fresh details and information.

iii) Committment to tight deadlines and submission of clean copy.

iv) Love of the English language and a passion for travel and pop culture.

v) Very good time management capacity.
