Senior EDI Developer/Support Analyst

Location: Portland, OR

• The ideal candidate will have 7 years of cross functional business experience including EDI system configuration, strong development, support, mapping, analysis, IT solutions development, and customer relationships.
• Experience on an EDI translator is required, Mainframe Gentran 6.0 and/or Sterling Integrator and COBOL. Knowledge of transportation, logistics and supply chain management.
• Provide technical expertise for supported transactions and deliver exceptional client support. Work with stakeholders to research moderate to complex issues, define mitigation solutions and offer recommendations to optimize transactions.
• Projects include: – system enhancements, large scale launches, migrations, implementations, etc.
• Troubleshoot and provide analysis, support and guidance on moderate to complex EDI issues related to Eligibility, Claim Status, Prior Authorization and Financial Decisioning inquiries
• Monitor and troubleshoot daily EDI operations within the production environment and proactively prioritize, communicate and resolve any process or system related issue with the payer or IT as needed
• Provide on call technical support for business critical and escalated client issues
• Ensure that individual and team efforts align with defined industry and company protocols Develop and maintain both internal and client-facing documentation. EDI experience including mapping, coding, and testing (UAT)& Gentran.
• Experience in a rapidly changing working environment with EDI implementations.
