EDI Developer

We are seeking an EDI Developer (webMethods) to work with our team to support our expanding EDI needs.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Assist trading partners with the development, testing and support of inbound and outbound EDI transactions.
• Support external customers and internal processing areas by troubleshooting data issues
• Oversee the technical efforts associated with implementing EDI trading partners
• Serve as a liaison between the IT and the business
• Support EDI integration with the back-end transactional system and ERP (MS AX)
• Govern EDI policies and procedures for new and existing trading partner interaction
• Ensure all system changes are processed according to SiteOne change control guidelines
• Support integration with IBM Sterling (VAN) and webMethods business process integration

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Strong EAI background using webMethods Product Suite
• Solid understanding of business practices and industry standard EDI formats (including ASC X12 standards)
• 5+ years of experience using Broker Server, Integration Server (IS), My webMethods Server and Developer/Designer
• 3+ years of experience developing flow services in version 9.6 or higher
• Strong IS Administration in version 9.6 or higher (including patching, upgrading and monitoring)
• Ability to test communication with trading partners
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills
• Motivated to learn and prioritize work assignments
• Good verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Eclipse and Java programming

PREFERRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Working knowledge of Microsoft .Net (C#)

Familiarity with Microsoft SQL (T-SQL)

·
Experience with expertise in web service development

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of relevant work experience
