EDI Coordinator/Analyst

The EDI Coordinator/Analyst will work as part of a team in a dynamic, fast paced, high volume EDI environment that supports the 1-800-Flowers business for its brands across multiple distribution channels. They will work with the EDI application (Seeburger BIS6) maintaining smooth communications for production using EDI tools. The role will work with trading partners to create mappings based on specifications. They will serve as the initial contact for troubleshooting inquiries, active monitoring of the EDI support queue and document transmissions, researching and logging of issues, and reconciliation of EDI documents.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Monitor day to day EDI operations and traffic as well as system health

Function as the primary point of contact for the establishment of new feeds

Obtain EDI file specifications, file encryption and transmission information

Create mappings based on customer/vendor specifications

Coordinate and facilitate trading partner testing

Research and resolve any product mapping errors or issues

Take ownership of issues and drive to resolution

Perform chargeback research

Contribute to the development of department documentation of EDI processes

Collaborate with other IT development teams

Two-year or four-year college degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent experience.

Experience with 3rd party EDI mapping tools, knowledge of Seeburger BIS6 preferred.

Proven ability to communicate effectively, work well with others, use productive work methods, exercise sound judgment and display initiative and innovation on the job.

Ability to work individually and in a team environment

Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to follow-up, perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, respond to changing priorities, and consistently meet deadlines with accurate and detailed results.
