EDI Contract to Hire Position

EDI CONTRACTOR

6 MONTH CONTRACT TO HIRE POSITION

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience with at least some HL7 transactional message types – (RDE, ADT, ORM, ORU, DFT, etc. )
• Experience with analysis and troubleshooting message processing or billing type issues, finding root cause of billing and processing issues as it relates to EMR message processing
• Experience with SQL server, writing queries, stored procedures, tables for analysis and reporting of EMR data
• Experience with QA testing of EMR interface connections, validating data post connection, and managing go-live activities with trading partner
• Experience interfacing with development teams to resolve issues and errors in EMR HL7 message processing, and managing issues to resolution with both trading partner and development teams
• Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience in healthcare HL7/EDI analysis

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience with developing and maintaining reporting of EMR processing statistics, messaging issues, and resolutions of issues
• Experience with implementation for healthcare electronic data interchange applications, project management of interface connectivity projects (TCP/IP connections and FTP)
• Project management experience with EMR connectivity

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide support after implementation for healthcare electronic data interchange applications
• Monitor and respond to inquiries regarding EDI issues EMR activities
• Conduct analysis of EDI transactions and production flows
• Responsible for documentation and reports
• Analysis of client data and process flows against company’s standard EMR engine including SQL queries and other data analysis tools
• Provide guidance and supplemental training on workflow, progress note templates, best practices, and required maintenance of company’s EMR (InfuBus) database system
• Provide ongoing, post-live support of InfuBus EMR systems
