The primary scope of the role will be focused on the EDI program and incorporate the interface of the EDI and Lawson ERP system. The EDI Analyst acts as a liaison, supporting the Finance, Supply Chain, and Information Systems departments with the development, coordination, implementation and oversight of EDI activities. The individual in this role must have strong problem solving skills in order to effectively review error logs within the Lawson ERP and resolve errors which may delay invoice and PO matching and thereby payments.

Principle Responsibilities: Develops deep understanding of EDI VAN (GHX Preferred) capabilities and optimal set up with ERP system (Lawson). Responsible for the onboarding of new vendors and scaling the program to full capacity and optimization. Acts as primary administrator of all EDI transactions.

Oversight of successful and unsuccessful transactions and developing pathway to resolution. Ability to review error logs and correct transaction errors or failures with respect to daily operations. Assist with vendor management of EDI VAN to ensure a smooth and consistent partnership with issues being resolved in a timely manner.Assist manager with liaising between Finance, Supply Chain and Information Systems departments to ensure open flow of communication.Assist Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Receiving teams to foster accountability, monitor progress, and ensure the root cause of pain points are resolved and not repeated. Provide regular reporting to Finance & Supply Chain leadership on key metrics for visibility on status and highlight any risks or trends.Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully and work independently while demonstrating initiative is required.Demonstrated analytical experience and be able to thrive in a dynamic work environment is requiredStrong interpersonal and collaboration skills are required to succeed with internal and external business partners.

Advanced level proficiency with the MS Office suite of products is required. Ability to complete and analyze data in MS Office suite is required, i.e. VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, Access database creation, queries, SQL understanding, etc. Completes special projects assigned by the manager within agreed upon time-frames and makes recommendations based on information gained from the special request.

Position Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in required. At Least 2 year experience supporting ERP applications is required.Experience with Lawson procurement applications is preferred. At least 2 years’ experience in Electronic Data Interchange analyses or administration required. Prior knowledge of Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX), is preferred.Experience in a health care environment is preferred.Strong experience with MS Access and Excel.
