The hours are 8:30am to 5pm Monday through Friday. This position includes paid vacation and sick time as well as a comprehensive employee benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, employer paid Life/ADD and an employer matching 401k option.

We are looking ONLY for candidates that have experience building 834 EDI Files

Prior experience with EDI is an absolute requirement and the applicant MUST be laser focused, detail-oriented and have the ability to learn and adapt very quickly. This position is a great opportunity to get hands on experience in some of the latest technology advances in employee benefits.

There will be a 2-week training period for evaluation to be sure the right candidate is selected to meet the criteria outlined below. Applicants are subject to education verification and a background check.

We are seeking an experienced EDI Analyst with the capacity to remain detail-oriented and organized in a fast-paced environment. In this position, you will be responsible for interacting with our national clients and insurance carriers to manage all aspects of the EDI file exchange process, beginning with the initial collection of requirements documents & identification of carrier/partner file specifications, all the way through the entire file configuration & testing life cycle. You will also be responsible for ongoing maintenance of all live electronic data feeds and will serve as the primary EDI contact to all clients and carriers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Manage multiple EDI Implementations, taking full responsibilities for maintaining timelines and communication with clients, vendors and partners
• Identify and collect insurance carrier accepted EDI file specifications and formats for new file implementations
• Mapping data imports and exports via specified XML, Flat, Flat, CSV, Fixed Width file formats and 834 EDI transaction sets (ANSI X12 834)
• Create new data maps and support a variety of existing data maps and EDI transaction sets
• Ability to efficiently manipulate data within Microsoft Excel for system imports and exports
• Conduct transactional and system analysis to troubleshoot and resolve reported file discrepancies
• Monitoring daily transmission of all live electronic data feeds
• File encryption and submission via FTP/SFTP client software

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

• Degree in Computer Science or Database Administration preferred
• 1+ years’ experience in data mapping, testing and implementing EDI account setups to/from XML, Flat, CSV, Fixed Width file formats and 834 EDI transaction sets (ANSI X12 834)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Access, Outlook
• Excellent time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities under minimal supervision
• Experiencing troubleshooting problems using root cause analysis to achieve resolution or alternatives
• Strong customer service skills necessary to manage customer expectations and relationships
