EDI Analyst

• Team members are involved in all aspects of the daily EDI operation and have the opportunity to interface with Technology, Business Partners, IT Partners and Customers.
• This role is a business role but requires a strong working knowledge of the technical operation.
• Team members are expected to have a good working knowledge of several EDI x12 transactions (850, 855, 856, 810). Knowledge of EDI 867, 844, 845, 849 is an asset.
• Team members are expected to have or develop an understanding of order and invoice processing in SAP and of the customer master functions of SAP.
• Team members are required to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the processing of EDI transactions and SAP order processes.
• Team members are required to partner with customers and the technical team to coordinate the testing and implementation of EDI transactions.
• Team members will be required to attend department business process training and become proficient in the department operations
• SAP or other application training will be completed as required

Responsibilities include:

• Investigate, identify and resolve issues in EDI and SAP processing
• Monitor a Microsoft Outlook mailbox that is used to centralize issues and requests
• Partner with customers to resolve issues and coordinate EDI implementations
• Partner with team members to complete data analyses using Microsoft Excel
• Partner with team members to execute testing of system changes and/or fixes
• Interact with stakeholders from different functional areas, third-parties and external customers

Job Requirements:

• Preferred familiarity with SAP
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Required experience with or understanding of EDI (electronic data interchange)
• Experienced with Microsoft Office
• Achieving/driving results
• Strong English Communication (verbal and written skills)
• Effective multi-tasking skills
• Strong analytical skills
