Who you are.

You are an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Analyst who is knowledgeable in file transfer, encryption, single-sign on (SSO) and general IT infrastructure. You have applied knowledge and experience with the following:

  • File transfer tools (VLTrader preferred)
  • Single Sign On (SSO) solutions (Ping Federate preferred)
  • Automation tools such as Jenkins
  • General scripting languages (Python preferred)
  • Basic UNIX/Linux system administration skills

Meet the team.

At RedBrick, we move a lot of data. Our Data Operations team is responsible for ensuring that the data we receive is processed quickly and that the data we deliver is accurate and on time. As a critical team member you will regularly perform the following:

  • Set up new file transfers and single sign on (SSO) integrations
  • Monitor EDI and automation processes for errors
  • Diagnose and prioritize errors for resolution and resolve them by identifying and fixing the root cause, not just addressing the issue at hand
  • Work with clients and vendors to ensure changes such as connection settings, certificates, etc. are tested and implemented by target deadlines
  • Run several custom, command-line Python tools that perform data validation, analyze and report output
  • Maintain a series of Jenkins pipelines that perform various automated tasks

What you bring to the team.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, management information systems (MIS), or other field appropriate to the position and four years or more of experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), or Associate’s degree in one of the fields above and six or more years of experience in EDI plus other technical skills (sys admin, scripting, etc.)
  • Proven ability to meet established deadlines
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Meticulous and detailed in your approach to work
