EDI Analyst

The EDI Analyst will be responsible for understanding and communicating trading partner (payer) requirements; how they will affect PokitDok APIs, workflows, operations and customer requirements. Employee will be responsible for monitoring claims volume; configuring and managing trading partner specific rules. The EDI Analyst will work closely with members of the EDI team, Engineering (API) team and Customer Success team to help troubleshoot and resolve issues. In addition, the EDI Analyst will be involved with EDI/Trading Partner projects from inception to production.

  • Research and understand trading partner requirements (270/271, 276/277, 835, 837)
  • Configure & test trading partner connections
  • Work to improve EDI workflow and processes
  • Work to improve transaction processing
  • Manage trading partner (payer) requirements
  • Troubleshoot EDI issues
  • Miscellaneous EDI/trading partner projects

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of claims processing/handling (X12)
  • Ability to review and analyze X12 files
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage & prioritize work via issue tracking system
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Able to anticipate work needs

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce or Jira
  • Experience with programming or working with JSON (JavaScript Object Notation)
  • Experience with medical billing
