Responsibilities and Qualifications

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

The EDI Analyst is responsible for all aspects of the EDI process, including maintenance and setup of existing and new partnerships, mapping and integration with our ERP system.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree or equivalent work experience required.
3 – 5 years EDI Production Support
Experience with EDI translator software – Gentran/Sterling Integrator preferred.
Experience with ERP systems – SAP ECC and IDOC Structure Expertise preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide end-to-end solution ownership of EDI/ERP integration.
Serve as primary EDI contact with customer/supplier technical staff for setup, testing, implementation and maintenance of EDI communications.
Analyze current EDI/B2B processes and systems, benchmark best practices and implement efficiencies to lessen the dependency on human intervention within the EDI process.
Setup/maintain EDI transaction sets 850, 855, 856, 810 and others as requested.
Create and maintain documentation for EDI processes including: mapping setup and changes, tracking trading partners by transaction sets, and EDI/ERP configuration setups.
Provide technical support for users and partners on EDI communication/translation failures and other difficulties as related to EDI.
​ SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
Proficiency in EDI ANSI X12 standards.
Understanding of AS2, FTP, SFTP and SMTP protocols.
