EDI Analyst

Leggett & Platt, Incorporated is seeking an EDI Analyst for the Information Technology Department at the company’s headquarters in Carthage, Missouri.

The successful candidate will function as an analyst that will:

Map EDI transactions using existing software solutions so that information can be exchanged between customer and company systems

Ensure that current EDI & E-Commerce operations and transactions are processed in a reliable, accurate, timely, and cost-effective manner

Work with and provide solutions to meet internal and external customer requirements

Provide a positive, customer focused attitude to internal and external customers

Have strong oral and written communication skills

Work well in a team environment

Requirements include:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field

Experience in EDI & E-Commerce technologies

Thorough understanding of EDI architectures and technologies (translators, etc.) as well as EDI standards (x12, EDIFACT, etc.)

Functional capabilities with C#, SSIS, ASP.NET, JAVA, VB6 and SQL is preferred but not required

Knowledge of Microsoft BizTalk is a plus
