EDI Analyst

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

JobDescription: The EDI Analyst is responsible for the administration of the EDI system and connectedapplications. This position will beresponsible for configuring and maintaining the EDI system as well as managingand resolving IT helpdesk requests related to such. The EDIAnalyst will also work closely with Management to make processimprovements and system enhancements to meet customer and business needs.

Experience: 3-5 years experience working with EDI applications.EDI Mapping experience (VB scripting experience is a plus), Web Services andSQL Server experience. Understanding ofFTP, SFTP and SMTP protocols. Proficiency in EDI ANSI X12 standards. Advanced Microsoft Office skills. Ability tomanage multiple projects and responsibilities. Excellent problem solvingability. Knowledge of Syspro, CrystalReports, Qlikview, advanced MS Access, advanced MS Excel and workflow systemsare a plus.

JobResponsibilities:
Administration of Syspro EDI system and related applications. Design and manage EDI trading partner configuration system to meet the needs of all current and future customers and suppliers. Conducts casual and formal training on EDI functions to appropriate parties. Monitor and develop new EDI VAN and direct AS2 connections. Error checking for transmissions inbound and outbound. Monitor logs to ensure all documents get to their intended recipient. Develop EDI for outbound purchase orders, shipping carriers, banks and warehouses. Develop & maintain internal EDI processes, procedures & standards Ensures that all EDI document transmission issues are resolved according to the departmental prioritization guidelines in a timely manner (monitor and make actions) Assist in maintaining and creating all qualifiers, conversions and EDI cross reference tables for all trading partners. All other duties as assigned.
