Drug Screen/Data Entry Technician

Job Description

Universal Background Screening is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our award-winning team as a Drug Screen/Data Entry Technician. Drug Screen/Data Entry Technicians are responsible for inputting drug test results into the electronic tracking system. Technicians are also responsible for processing instant tests and/or preparing specimens for transport to the laboratory for testing via courier service or overnight delivery. You may also be required to collect urine specimens at our local facility and customer locations.

Please note that this position is for collection of drug testing specimens only, there are no venipuncture (blood) collections performed. Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Previous experience in Drug Testing, Occupational Health, Third Party Administrator (TPA) or similar position is preferred.

DOT collection experience a plus.

Must be comfortable handling urine specimens as a job function.

Quickly and accurately record and process specimens, ensuring all relevant information is accurate, all requested tests are ordered, collection procedures are followed, while maintaining a chain of custody at all times.

Maintain a clean and safe work collection environment, in compliance with industry protocols

Communicate in a professional, customer service-oriented manner way with donors

Additional Information

The Drug Screen/Data Entry Technician position starts at $11.00/hr. This position is full time, Monday Through Friday with hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
