Dispatcher/Customer Service

We are looking for a Dispatcher/Customer Service, this position will be responsible for Dispatching and routing shipments and transfers, as well as customer service duties. Well organized individual that can be comfortable not only dispatching crews but also interacting with our customers and members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answers multi-line telephone system, takes accurate messages and transfers telephone calls to the appropriate person in an efficient manner.
• Answer emails, create and manage schedules, and possibly learn industry specific software.
• Greets and screens incoming calls/visitors in a professional manner and promptly notifies appropriate person of their arrival or direct them to the appropriate person.
• Operates standard office equipment including: multi-line telephone system, facsimile machine, photocopy machine, postage meter, Calculator, computer/printer
• Monitors machines, directs incoming documents and sends documents as requested.
• Types correspondence and memorandums in proper format, proofreads and mails as assigned.
• Contacts appropriate company for necessary preventive maintenance/service on office equipment and maintain related files.
• Listens to customers and management, speaking in a clear and friendly way over the phone and face-to-face are essential skills
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

2 years of warehouse/logistics experience

Professional interpersonal relationship skills

Strong customer service problem solving skills and decision-making

Demonstrated skills showing initiative, personal responsibility and accountability

Knowledge of managing two way communications

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast paced environment while meeting deadlines

Speed and accuracy in the completion of tasks

Available by phone weekends and evenings
