Dispatcher

Summary

The Dispatcher position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Customer Service skills are mandatory, as well as the ability to operate a computer and multi-task. Our goal is to provide exceptional customer service while operating in the most efficient manner possible.

Duties include receiving all initial incoming service requests and other calls; determines correct routing of calls; determines appropriate towing service needs and dispatches to tow operators; serves as the primary customer telephone and office contact, and escorting customers into vehicle storage area when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Previous dispatching experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of streets, cross-streets, highway exits and directions.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of English language for spelling and proper word usage;
• Knowledge of computer technology and equipment;
• Knowledge of all services we provide and customer base;
• Skill in multi-tasking, coordinating simultaneous mental, manual and visual activities;
• Skill in observing situations analytically and objectively and relaying details accurately;
• Ability to speak clearly and concisely;
• Ability to think clearly and act expeditiously;
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and co-workers;
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency;

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $12.00 /hour
