Position Summary:
Under the general oversight of the Chief Information Officer, the Director of Technology Services will function as a Chief Technology Officer to oversee and review day to day IS computer operations & infrastructure support, business continuity and disaster recovery plans, and be a key technical strategist in developing the strategic plan working within the governance structures in ThedaCare.

Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the effective management of allocated human resources on individual, team, work group and departmental basis, to review qualifications and performance of job duties and support services (communication, work allocation, setting standards, measurement and continuous monitoring).
2. Serves as an escalation contact with ThedaCare leadership, customers and vendor representatives for all information technology support issues.
3. The Director will provide oversight and leadership for the creation and maintenance of service level agreements for software and hardware technology operations and services for the enterprise.
4. Responsible for the measurement and enhancement of customer satisfaction as it relates to operations support and the delivery of high service level availability across the ThedaCare organization.
5. Is responsible for all technical infrastructure expenditures and puchases.
6. Ensures that the information technology infrastructure is optimized on performance, reliability, and cost levels.

Department/Unit details:
ThedaCare is technically well positioned with a strong technical team supporting a highly virtualized environment support EPIC as its core electronic medical record. The environment needs a strong leader that will run the technical services area as a business with a focus on customer service.

Job Qualifications:

Education
Required: Bachelor degree in Information Technology or related field
Preferred: Advanced degree

Experience
Required: 8 years of Leadership experience in an Information Technology related field and an additional 8 years of IT related experience. Consulting experience a plus.
Preferred: Leadership at a health system level.
