Position Overview

We are hiring a Director of Product Management who can define and deliver a state of the art subscription experience to over three million customers worldwide. Working in partnership with our engineering and user experience teams, you will define the capabilities needed to help our customers find what they want and love what they find as they engage digitally with Autodesk. You’ll be working in a highly visible and collaborative cross-functional environment on one of the top strategic initiatives of the company.
This role is for you if you are a seasoned leader of Product Management who can bring subject-matter expertise, thought leadership, and industry experience to the Autodesk. You must be a strategic thinker and collaborator with great analytical skills and a passionate to deliver amazing customer experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Own the product vision for the Subscriber Platform. Be an expert on subscription market trends
  • Evangelize the platform vision and roadmap. Ensure key stakeholders are aligned and have an ongoing understanding of how the platform will deliver enhanced subscriber value
  • Lead, coach and inspire a team of approximately twelve Product Managers to master their discipline while delivering faster and better outcomes
  • Be the champion and voice of subscribers. Build impactful, personal customer relationships. Bring the customer’s voice into the creation process. Own requirements, specifications, and rollout plans
  • Drive for the best customer experience possible. Work closely with UX to develop, test, and deliver clear and compelling requirements to engineering
  • Drive for the best platform possible. Work with the engineering teams to ensure the platforms achieve their performance, availability, scalability and security goals in addition to their features and functionality
  • Measure success. Measure everything. Define what success means for each feature and each function before it even goes to development
  • Communicate clearly and effectively. Coordinate product release communications for your components. Define expectations for engineering and user experience teams and hold them accountable
Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven leadership and managerial skills with a demonstrated ability to build and develop Product Management teams while delivering mission-critical products
  • Exceptional communication and highly effective influencing skills
  • Prior experience in platform product management and architecture in a high growth environment
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with results-driven, practical mind set
  • Ability to focus on long term vision and strategy and short term tactical execution
  • Proven ability to manage and resolve ambiguous issues crossing multiple divisions
  • Solid understanding of cloud software delivery, deployment and management technologies and the industry landscape around us
  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree or MBA strongly preferred
  • Ability to simplify and articulate complex ideas
  • Proven ability to deliver on commitments
  • Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus
